22 Aug Take you PADI Open Water Referral Course on Bali
Only have limited time available on your holiday on Bali, but keen to get your PADI Open Water certification? Have a look at our referral course.
With the PADI Open Water referral course, you do all your theory and swimming pool lessons already back home. Here on Bali, you will only need to do 4 more dives for your open water course. The PADI Open Water Referral course at Joe’s Gone Diving will take just 2 days. You will get to make your dives in the nice, warm waters in Bali and have a chance to see great reefs and marine life.
Dive locations during your Open Water Referral course
We normally go one day to Padang Bay with its great coral gardens and amazing marine life. We often spot cuttle fish, octopus and anemone fish there. And if you are lucky, you might even see a turtle or shark.
The other day we usually go to the famous USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben from WWII. This impressive wreck already starts at 3 metres depth and is just 25 metres from the shore. The wreck is completely covered in corals and teeming with marine life. It is a bit of a drive, about 2.5 hours, but along a nice scenic route.
The dives in Tulamben are shore dives and the dives in Padang Bay are boat dives, so you get to experience two different types of entry.
Cost of your PADI Open Water Referral course on Bali
The cost of the course is IDR4,556,000 (US$340). If you have done the theory part via eLearning, you will receive a discount of IDR469,000 (US$35) on the course price.
The only thing you will need to be able to join the PADI Open Water referral course, is a filled out and signed referral form from a PADI Dive Center or PADI Instructor. You will need to take your dives in the ocean within 1 year of completing your swimming pool sessions as the referral is only valid for 1 year.
Just send us your form in advance, so we can double check if it is complete.
