Depth: max. 12 m.
Duration: 2 days, 2 dives
Who can join: You must be in good health and 10 years or older
Pre-Course Preparation:
Finish all your theory at home via eLearning. Or pick up a manual on Bali 1 or 2 days before the start of your course to do some self-study and prepare. When you pick up the manual, you will also get a print out of the knowledge reviews which you will need to fill out and bring with you on the first course day. If you have done eLearning, make sure you bring your printed eRecord on the first day of your PADI Scuba Diver Course in Bali. The amount of theory for the PADI Scuba Diver course is not so much, so it is also possible to complete it all during the course.
Day 1:
On the first day of your PADI Scuba Diver course you will start off the day with theory. You will watch the DVD, go over knowledge reviews and make your first tests. In the afternoon you will go to the swimming pool to start practicing your scuba diving skills. The knowledge development sessions cover the first three chapters of the full PADI Open Water Diver course and the pool sessions cover the first three scuba diving skills sessions. You will learn things like how to glide through the water, how to clear your mask when water comes in and how to share your air with someone else. But above all, how to have a lot of fun under water.
Day 2:
Ocean time! The second day of your course will be focused on putting the learned swimming pool skills into practice into the ocean. You will make two dives, repeat the dive skills from the previous day and get to explore the beautiful Bali reefs. We usually go to either the colourful reefs of Padang Bay or the famous USAT Liberty wreck from WWII. Both dive spots are teeming with marine life and are amazing locations to experience scuba diving for the first time.
The PADI Scuba Diver course in Bali is the first part of the Open Water Diver course. Once you have your Scuba Diver Certificate you will only need to do two more days to get your PADI Open Water certificate which can be done anywhere in the world.
Once you successfully finished your course, you will receive the PADI Scuba Diver Certification (or the Junior PADI Scuba Diver certification if you are younger than 15 years). A certification which is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive anywhere in the world under the guidance of a dive professional.
As all of our Bali diving courses, the course is available in multiple languages.
